| According to a
recent story in the Santa Paula Times newspaper….”She’s wild,
she’s wacky and she’s got a million ideas to transform the
humdrum into wow, bring new life to everyday objects, or create
something that is both out of this world and daringly stylish.
Pattie Donham, an author-designer of more than 20 crafts books
and magazines, veteran television host, national TV guest, and
maven of creative madness known professionally as PattieWack,
has found designing and product development to her quirky
liking.” |
Pattie says, “Crafting is supposed to be fun, not serious.
Tire track t-shirts, a jeans upholstered Lazy Boy chair,
decoupage mannequins and pompoms & tassels are much on the
mind of Pattie, whose creations have strong touches of
whimsy and imagination. Her paper crafting “has grown into a
fetish” but she still has time to create painting
techniques, tools and templates for a growing number of
craft industry manufacturers. “If I can’t glue it I won’t do
it!” Pattie says with a laugh, as she’s recently authored a
serious glue bible entitled; “The Crafter’s Guide to Glue”
with Sterling Publishing, and is currently working on a
paper craft book for Soho Publishing Company.
For over 20 years PattieWack has been doing what she loves
and shares with fans in her Craft TV videos, on a weekly
segment for KOTV CBS Tulsa’s Six in the Morning show, on her
craft blog, and here at her website, where she always urges
her fans to….
“Have fun with it!”
