Flower Girl Basket
Designed by Pattie Donham

Supplies:
PattieWack Special Occasions Pattern Pak
White Poster Paper
Handmade Paper of Gift Wrap
Spray Adhesive
Terrifically Tacky Tape
White Craft Glue
Scissors
Beads
Clothespins
Bone Folder (or Scoring Tool)

Steps:

1. Transfer the PattieWack Flower Basket and Handle pattern from the Special Occasions Pattern Pak onto the white poster paper, using graphite or carbon paper.
2. Glue scrapbook paper or gift-wrap paper to the opposite side of the paper, using spray adhesive.
3. Cut out the box, along the transferred pattern edges, being careful to cut the notches all the way to the score lines. Use decorative edge scissors to cut the scalloped edges for a darling touch.
4. Score along all of the inside lines of the box.
5. Fold all of the score lines toward the center of the box.
6. Join the ends of the box, matching the B tab to the B edge of the box. Glue the flap to the inside of the box securely with Terrifically Tacky Tape.
7. Fold the bottom of the basket, securing each tab with tape.
8. Cut out the handle with decorative scissors. Place a strip of Terrifically Tacky Tape down the center of the handle. Pull off the tape liner and press beads into the tape to cover the tape completely.
9. Glue the handle securely to the basket. Hold together with clothespins until glue is completely dry.

PattieWack Tip:
This is a cute versatile basket that can be used for dozens of different ideas. Tie a bow or raffia on the sides. Not only is it perfect for the Flower Girl, but you can place a small glass vase inside to hold fresh flowers as centerpieces at the reception.
