Supplies:
Pillar Candle
ArtEmboss Pewter Embossing Metal Sheet
Empressor® Rolling-Ball Embosser Tool
#9 Smooth Nickel Plated Furniture Nails
Tools:
Ruler
Scissors
Craft Foam or other cushioned work surface

Steps:
1. Measure around the candle, and add 1/2 inch for the length of candle band. Cut the metal sheet 3 inches wide, by the length of your measurement.
2. Place the band on craft foam.
3. Using a ruler as a straight edge, emboss a line 1/4 inch from the edge of the band. Repeat along the other edge.
4. Emboss swirls or squares along the center of the band. Turn the band over to reveal the embossed design.
5. Wrap the embossed band around the candle. Hold in place and push furniture nails through the band and into the candle, along the edges of the band to complete.

Pattie's Pointer:
Personalize your pewter candles with alphabet stencils instead of geometric designs to create a monogrammed gift for that special guy!
