Tassels
the Pattiewack Way!
Designed
by Pattie Donham,
creator of the Pattiewack Pompom Tools
The PattieWack™ tools enable you to create fantastic tassels from 2 inches to 7 inches long, in 4 easy steps, with only ONE tool.
Virtually anything that can be wound around the tool, can be made into a tassel ......such as yarn, fibers, ribbon, or raffia.
Create tassels for afghans, jewelry, pillows, shoes, shawls, scrapbooks, boxes, cards & more.

Easy Steps:
#1 – Wind…yarn around tassel tool, at the selected length on the tool. Continue until you see the fullness of tassel you desire.
#2 – Tie…a separate length of yarn around the top of the tassel, by slipping the yarn through the slot in the tool, and pulling up to the top of the tassel. Tie securely, leaving enough yarn for a hanger.
#3 – Bind…the neck of the tassel by threading another length of yarn through the slot, around the neck of the tassel. Tie the yarn securely, leaving the ends to hang within the tassel.
#4 – Cut…the bottom of the tassel away from the tool, by slipping scissors through the loops to cut. Pull the finished tassel down the neck of the tool, gently flexing the tool to release the finished tassel.
Pattie's Pointer -
To make the polka dotted tassel pictured, paint a tassel finial solid black and let dry. Dip a round sponge into hot pink acrylic paint and dab polka dots on all sides. Let dry. Make a 7-inch tassel with an entire package of pink & black Adornaments® fibers, or assorted pink and black yarns and fibers, following the 4 easy steps.
Thread the hanger of the completed tassel through the bottom of the finial and out the top, threading on a striped black and white bead, and a hot pink bead. Glue pink beaded pompom fringe or single pom poms around the bottom edge of the finial to complete.
