On Six In The Morning 


Supplies:

Masking Tape
Plastic Bag
Krylon® Spray Primer (grey)
Krylon® White Spray Paint
2 Acrylic Paints
Black Permanent Marker
Fibers/Yarns
1/2” Bead
PattieWack™ Tassel Tool

Instructions:

1. Place the tool into a plastic bag and tape it up to the handle with masking tape.
2. Spray a coat of primer onto the handle.  Let dry.
3. Spray a coat of white paint onto the handle. Let dry.  Repeat if necessary.
4. Remove the making tape and bag.
5. Paint colored stripes, 1-inch wide, with a soft brush and acrylic paints.  Let dry.
6. Draw wavy lines at each section of stripes with permanent marker.
7. Draw swirls and hearts and words with a permanent marker or paint pen.
8. Make a 4-inch tassel with matching yarns/fibers with a bead at the top, using the PattieWack™ Tassel Tool.
9. Tie the tassel to the handle to complete.


Pattie’s Pointer:
This is a great way to celebrate Earth Day!  After you have these fancy tools, you’ll be ready to work in the garden, or give them away in a gift basket brimming with annuals, gloves, and seeds.  And don’t forget the tassel!
