Behind the Scenes...
At The 2007 Winter CHA Trade Show

Alyson Udell is the Marketing Director for Duncan Enterprises, and she invited me to join the other "Celebrity Designers" in their booth to demonstrate fabulous new products.

She is a fashionista and the cutest thing you've ever seen. Her booth was amazing, and had the entire trade show buzzing with anticipation.

Check out her NEWSY FASHION GIRL BLOG http://duncanfashiongirl.blogspot.com

Judy Belcher is a very talented polymer clay artist, and we were so happy to get some exclusive video of her art at the Ranger booth. We will be announcing where you can watch her video on the web very soon.

Yes, that's Joan Fee and Lauren Johnston, my old pals from Aleene's Creative Living!

Lauren showed off her talents in the Krylon booth with some fancy new paint pens, and Joan took the trade show by storm with her fabulous bra purse in the Duncan booth.

You should check out
JOAN'S CREATIVE BLOG at  http://expressyourcreativity.blogspot.com  and see more of her bra purse escapade.

Speaking of old friends, this is Jen Fullerton and Kat Shannon. Jen used to be the Director at Aleene's Creative Living television show, so if you ever taped there, you will remember her. And yes, that's the same Kat that used to be the audio engineer at Aleene's too!

He is now a radio celebrity in Santa Barbara, where you can listen in every Wednesday on Santa Barbara's AM 1290 KZSB Talk Radio 4:00 to 5:00 pm PDT. You can catch up to him at HIS WEBSITE http://thekatman.com and find out the latest in his life adventures.

As you can see, we were there to get some great video of new products, and this is Paul Bakken from PADCO www.padco.com getting his microphone ready to tape his fantastic technique for faux painting.

We'll be letting you know how you can see it all very soon.

The Glue It! and Use It! Book will be published in the early fall, and Mickey Baskett is my new publisher/packager who will make it all happen with Sterling Publishing.

It was great to hang out in the press room with her and talk about lots more ideas for craft books.

Norma Anne Chattin is a talented mixed media artist from Spellbinder, and she got us so excited about a new embossing and die cutting system, that we just had to get some video!

She has a great website www.nachattin.com filled with beautiful art and ideas. It was a pleasure to meet with her, and I believe I've made a great new friend, too.

The EK Success booth had some groupies!

Well, maybe I should say, happy designer friends like Wendy McKeehan and Shannan Browning!

They were a hoot to hang around and they are exactly what you go to trade shows for...fun and friends.
