Acrylic Paints (in desired colors)
Disposable brushes and plates
Papier’ Mache Boxes, or
Boxes made with PattieWack™ Boxmaker
4 Contrasting Papers
Decorative Edge Scissors
Paper Crimper
Glue
Charms
Tassel for larger boxes (optional)
Paint Pen (gold)
Rubber Stamps (Stampabilities®)
Gold Stamp Pad

Pattie’s
Pointer: It’s fun to cut spirals, stars, hearts,
diamonds, borders and squares, and then squiggle on them with
a gold paint pen. How about some happy words, like.....
“loved....blessings...miracles...surprises...kisses....magical...joy...happiness...
forever....kittens...rainbows...friends...sunshine...puppies....hugs...laughter...”
Steps:
1. Paint boxes in coordinating colors to match papers. Let
Dry.
2. Cut various paper shapes and borders with decorative edge
scissors. To create more texture, use a paper crimper,
following manufacturer’s instructions. (See photo for
ideas.)
3. Embellish with charms, tassels and gold paint pen or rubber
stamps. |
