Crystal Bubble Wands
Designed by Pattie Donham

Supplies:
PattieWack Clear Shrink-Plastic
Permanent Marker
Silver Metallic Paint Pen
Hole Punch
Scissors
Oven or Toaster-Oven
Baby Powder
Baking Pan
Ribbon
Stemmed Glassware
Liquid Bubbles

Steps:

1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
2. Lay shrink-plastic over pattern.  Trace pattern with permanent pen.  Draw designs onto bubble wand with paint pen.  You can go outside of the tracing lines, since you will be cutting out the wand.
3. Cut out the wand along the inside of the traced lines.  Use hole punch to punch a hole in the handle, and a hole in the bubble-blowing area of the wand.  Insert point of scissors through the punched hole to cut out the center area.
4. Lightly sprinkle baby powder onto baking pan and smooth with fingers. Place the wand onto baking board.  Place in the oven.  When the wand has shrunk and is completely flat, remove from oven.  Let cool. (You can use a spatula to help flatten the wand after you pull it out.)
5. Tie ribbon onto the handle.
6. Fill a glass with liquid bubbles, dip your wand, and surround yourself with bubbles!
