Pattie’s Pointer: I want to thank The Way to Women’s Wellness ArtBra Calendar for their inspiration, and of course Marlene Watson and her craft class for challenging fellow crafters to join together to increase awareness about breast cancer. Steps:
1. Cut the straps loose from the back of the bra.
2. Cut the back off of the bra, where the underwire meets the sides of the bra. Discard.
3. Fold the beaded fringe in half, and glue together to create a double fringe. This will add to the fullness in the fringe.
4. Glue the fringe along the bottom of one of the cups, on the inside of the bra.
5. Glue the two cups together along the bottom, and also on the open side.
6. Glue the loose straps to the inside of the cups to create a double handle.
7. Glue a Velcro closure inside the center of the purse if desired.
8. Glue the ribbon rose garland across the front and back of the purse.
9. Create a tassel with coordinating Adornaments™ fibers, and tie to the handle to complete.
