Beaded fashion accessories are simply gorgeous to make, but how fun is a beaded bowling pin? I had the opportunity to decorate a used bowling pin for the PattieWack-n-Crafts segment recently for the Six In The Morning show. It turned out fabulous! It was used in a charity raffle for the Tulsa Big Sisters. LeAnne Taylor and Carina Sonn added their autograph to the beaded bowling pin, and then participated in a bowling tournament to benefit the charity. What fun!

Steps:
1. Trace around the glasses case, mirror compact, and buckle, onto a sheet of paper. Add 1/4-inch around the traced marking for the glasses case. Cut out the patterns and place on each item to check the fit. (Do the same technique for the bowling pin.)

3. Using the patterns, cut pieces from the double-adhesive sheet.

4. Peel paper backing off of the double-adhesive pieces. Place onto the items, easing the corners into place on the glasses case.

5. Place the alphabet letters and crystals on the buckle to spell 'cute'. Cut the shanks off the buttons and place on the mirror compact and glasses case. Add crystals if desired. Press the pieces firmly into the adhesive.

6. Pour beads into a bowl, then dip the items into the bowl to cover with beads. Press beads into the adhesive with fingers, or with a brayer. Repeat until the adhesive is completely covered with beads.

Option: To embellish sunglasses, apply double-sided adhesive tape to the sides of the glasses, pull off the red backing, and dip into beads.
