Supplies:
Old Furniture or Base Piece -
(Thrift store or garage sale finds are great, anything that needs a make-over; example: chair, frames, hanging lamp, pillows, coffee table)
Old Jeans
Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
Scissors

Pattie’s Pointer: For an 'In-Jean-ious' bathroom idea, use the same technique and hot glue jean pieces onto a fabric shower curtain. Hey, use red bandannas for tiebacks . . . How 'All-American' can you get?

Steps:
1. Cut legs off of jeans and lay remaining upper portion (zipper, waistband and pockets . . . looks like 'short-shorts') aside.

2. Cut the legs in half by cutting along the seams on both sides; then cut into assorted smaller sized pieces to apply to base piece. (The size of jean pieces will depend on your preference and the size of your base piece.) Tuck under all edges of each jean piece and hot glue to give a finished edge.

3. Cut 'short-shorts' (mentioned above) in half along seams creating a front and back piece. Finish edges by tucking under and hot gluing.

4. To cover base piece, lay out jean pieces for placement (in a 'patch work' style), then hot glue in place directly onto your base piece.
